“अनूठे अंदाज में मनाई दिवाली”……….अपने अपने घर तो दिवाली मनाने सभी आते है, किन्तु आज दिवाली मनाई गयी “अपना घर” वृद्धाश्रम मे!!!
On the occasion of Diwali, students from School of Journalism and Mass Communication LNCT University decided to devote their time and spend it with the respected senior citizens of the old age home “Apna Ghar”.
The visit was planned under the supervision of Dr. Anu Shrivastava Ma’am (HOD), Nishant Mahalaha sir, Akansha Ma’am, Ranjan Sir, and Mrs. Deepti Singhal Ma’am (Counselor – LNCT University).
The senior citizens were greeted with the gift packs, snacks and surprise present created by the students. At the moment senior citizens of “Apna Ghar” sung songs, played with the flute, laughed on jokes and enjoyed with students a lot with great favor. The students also made rangolis and talked with them, it was a great learning experience for the students. The meet ended with hugs and goodbyes with promises of visiting again. Visits like such are important to cultivate the parental feeling in the students and to keep them grounded.
