On the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day 2025, the Departments of Pediatrics, Radiology, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology at JK Hospital came together to organize an impactful awareness session on Down Syndrome on March 21, 2025.
The session brought together experts from all three specialties who shared valuable insights on the early diagnosis, medical management, and comprehensive supportive care essential for individuals with Down Syndrome. Their collective knowledge provided attendees with a deeper understanding of the condition and the importance of inclusive healthcare.
To mark the occasion, participants and staff wore yellow and blue, the official colors of Down Syndrome awareness, as a symbol of solidarity, support, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by the condition.
This initiative reflects JK Hospital’s continued commitment to inclusive healthcare education, patient empowerment, and community engagement.
