A guest lecture cum awareness program was organised in the JK hospital CME hall on 6th March 2019by department of physiotherapy. The resource person was Mr Harish mantri, MD Shree Shivam, he is the international motivational speaker of organ donation society, and dr Rakesh Bhargava MBBS, DCH, who was the mentor of this program he is associated with organ donation society since last 30 years, They specifically focused on life saving during alive and after death too by donating the organ. He aware the audience when we alive we can donate Blood, Bone marrow, partial part of liver, one kidney, etc. And after death can donate Heart, liver, kidneys, lungs, skin, cornea,etc. He also explain about the road safety measures to reduce the road side accident .
The conclusion of this program was to save life of yourself first by using helmet and seat belt while driving or if any casualty happen then save the others life by donating the organ. Dr Harish mantri and presentation was appreciated by audience, interns, medical UG,PG students, physiotherapy students,all faculties of jk hospital and LN medical college. He was presented a flower bookey by Dr AK Chaudhary director jk hospital. Vote of thanks given by Dr sarla Menon medical superintendent & director. Dr DK sathpathi Dean welfare, Dr sarla menon medical superintendent & director JKHMRC appreciated the effort of Dr Jagdish Jaiswal HOD physiotherapy to organise such event.
