On World AIDS Day, December 1, 2025, LN Nursing School, Bhopal, organized a community awareness program through a nukkad natak (street play) performed by BSc Nursing 7th semester students. The event aimed to educate the community about HIV/AIDS, dispel myths, and promote awareness and prevention. The play highlighted the importance of HIV testing, treatment, and support for people living with HIV/AIDS, and the role of community members in preventing the spread of HIV. The performance was met with applause and appreciation, with many in attendance praising the students’ efforts to spread awareness.
The program was successfully organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. T. Jayakumar, Organizing Chairperson, and Prof Mrs Vibha Jacob,Mrs Chanchlesh Shrivas and Mrs Tara Dubey Organizing Secretary, Faculty of Nursing, LN Nursing College. The event received excellent feedback, with participants praising the students’ performance and the initiative.
