Department of Biotechnology at LNCT University, Bhopal, successfully organized an Expert Talk on “Microalgal Biorefinery: Challenges and Prospects”
The distinguished resource person, Prof. Archana Tiwari from the Diatom Research Laboratory, Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University, Noida, shared her expertise on phycoprospecting of diatoms for wastewater remediation, production of bioactive compounds, and the challenges associated with algal biorefinery. The session also included engaging discussions, making it highly interactive and informative.
The session offered valuable insights into the diverse applications of microalgae in environmental management, sustainable biotechnological innovations, and future prospects. It served as an enriching learning experience for both students and faculty members.

A total of 41 Students attended the program. Overall, the talk provided a significant platform for academic growth, enhancing understanding of bioremediation and industry-oriented algal technologies.
