On 29 July 2026, the School of Legal Studies, LNCT University, Bhopal, organized an insightful guest lecture on “Legal Education in India: Challenges, Prospects, and Future Roadmap.” The session aimed to equip law students with a deeper understanding of the evolving landscape of legal education and prepare them for the emerging demands of the legal profession. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Mukesh Malviya, Faculty of Law, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Uttar Pradesh, who discussed the historical evolution of legal education in India, the impact of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, and key challenges such as the theory-practice gap, the need for stronger moot court training, affordability, rural accessibility, and the importance of industry-aligned legal curricula.
