CITYNASA Bhopal city is a new initiative started by School of Architecture LNCT University to conduct events, conventions, seminars, workshops, design competitions & trophies and many other activities for the Students of Architecture in Different colleges of Bhopal. First CITY NASA was organized on occasion of World Architecture Day, 5th October 2019, at LNCT University. Students from RKDF Architecture College, BMCT Architecture College and MANIT Architecture Students participated.
The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Hon’ble Shri Jai Narain Chouksey sir, Guest of Honor Hon’ble Shri Anupam Chouksey Sir (Secretary – LNCT Group), Smt. Shweta Chouksey Ma’am(Executive Director – LNCT Group), Prof. Dr N.K Thapak (Vice Chancellor-LNCT University), Anupama Ma’am, Head MANIT, Vibha Joshi, Head RKDF and 10 esteemed Jury members from different colleges. Jury Members consisted of Sandhya Ekbote, SV Polytechnic, Supriya Vyas and Habib Ul Haq, MANIT, Ashutosh Tiwari , RKDF, Sushma Gokhale, Womens Polytechnic, Sudhir Chandel, BMCT, Vicky sir(Choregrapher and Dance Teacher), Shankar Rajpur ( Artist) Sweta Kandri and Manish Sharma SPA Bhopal.
Students participated in various competitions like Face Painting, Collage Making, Portrait Sketching, Chess, Badminton, Best out of Waste, Singing and Dancing. Out of 20 Winner trophies, 11 were won by LNCT University and 08 were won by RKDF and 01 by MANIT.
Students got exposure to various levels of perfection and quality of study level, hard work and workmanship and healthy competition from this event .
The National Association of Students of Architecture (NASA India) is one of the largest Architectural Student Organizations in the world with student participants from more than 400 hundred colleges all over the India and countries around the world. The main objective of NASA India is to create a platform for architecture students to learn and share their education and talent, engage them directly and indirectly through both online and offline platforms.
