Guest Lecture on Conflict Management and Communication Skills LNCT University | Best Private University in Central India

A Guest lecture cum CME was organised in the Auditorium of LN. Medical College, Bhopal on 28th February 2019 by the Department of Pediatrics. The Speaker was Dr. Jayant Vagha, Professor of Pediatrics, JNMC, Wardha, Director, Communication Skills Lab & Director, Centre of Excellence, Global Collaborations & Accreditations. He spoke on CONFLICT MANAGEMENT & COMMUNICATION SKILL LAB IN A MEDICAL COLLEGE.

The topic of Conflict Management was covered in a very interesting way with PPT on the topic. He pointed out that Conflicts are inevitable in any relationship due to concern for each other & it needs to be managed properly for resolving. If resolution is delayed, it can culminate  in a Crisis or a Catastrophe.The way to manage was explained by him with interesting examples from day to day life & incidents.
He also emphasized the need of having a Communication lab in all Medical Colleges to expose the students at UG level to the art & science of Good communication skill & avoid Conflict.His presentation was appreciated by the audience, Interns, UG students, Nursing staff & Faculty members of Pediatrics. He was presented a Memento by Dr. Sarla Menon, Medical Director, L.N. Medical College & J.K. Hospital & Prof: Dr. Rashmi Dwivedi, HOD, Pediatrics. Vote of Thanks was given by Prof: Dr. Shweta Ànand, Department of Pediatrics.
