The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, LN Nursing School, LNCT University, organized a hands-on Skilled Birth Attendant (SBA) Training Programme at the OBG Lab, approved by IQAC. The training was specifically designed for B.Sc. Nursing 7th Semester students, focusing on safe delivery practices, neonatal care, and obstetric emergency management.

Guided by Dr. T. Jayakumar, Principal, the program witnessed the active participation of 64 students and faculty members.

The session was enriched by the presence of Mrs. Rajshree Malviya, Assistant Professor, Govt. College of Nursing, GMC Bhopal, who served as the external resource person. She conducted practical sessions on childbirth techniques, neonatal resuscitation, and simulation-based training, providing invaluable clinical exposure to the students.

The training program significantly enhanced the participants’ clinical competence and confidence, promoting safe, evidence-based maternal and newborn care practices. Students expressed their appreciation for the hands-on learning experience, which bridged theoretical knowledge with real-world application.
