Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Visit : Observation of Live Session Proceedings
On 04th December 2025 , students and Faculties of School of Legal Studies, LNCT University Bhopal visited Vidhan Sabha where they had the unique opportunity to witness the live proceedings of the Question Hour. During this hour, elected representatives asked questions to ministers and students derived knowledge of legislative discussions and government accountability.
The Leader of opposition, Hon’ble Umang Singhar Sir and Deputy Chief Minister Hon’ble Jagdish Devda Sir deliver briefings on the political system and parliamentary practices.
After observing the live session in the assembly hall, the students also explored the Vidhan Sabha building, learning about its structure, the roles of the Speaker and opposition leaders, and the significance of maintaining decorum during such proceedings.
The whole visit was successfully completed under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Kumar Sahu, Dean & Director of SOLS LNCT University Bhopal , and the faculties who visited the vidhan sabha are Mr Rajat Umrey,Mr Karan Tiwari, Ms Namika Dubey,Ms Snigdha Saraiya and Mrs Soumya Dubey.
This immersive experience enabled students to connect their academic knowledge of democratic processes with practical observations of how state governance functions.
