The Department of Rachana Sharir at LN Ayurved College & Hospital, Bhopal, observed Organ Donation Day with a series of awareness activities aimed at promoting the noble cause of organ donation and inspiring students to become ambassadors of this life-saving initiative. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and staff, emphasizing the importance of creating awareness about organ donation in society.
On the occasion, Principal Dr. Sapan Jain, Vice Principal Dr. Varsha Wanjari, and Director Dr. Vishal Sivhare addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of organ donation as a selfless act that can save multiple lives. They encouraged students to spread awareness within their families and communities and motivate people to pledge for organ donation.
As part of the celebration, a Speech Competition on the theme of organ donation was organized to encourage students to express their views and enhance public awareness. Dr. Sameer and Dr. Sarita served as judges for the competition and appreciated the participants for their insightful presentations. Students also performed a powerful Nukkad Natak (Street Play) that effectively conveyed the importance of organ donation and dispelled common myths associated with it. An Organ Donation Awareness Rally was also conducted across the campus to spread the message of saving lives through organ donation.
The winners of the speech competition were felicitated with certificates in recognition of their outstanding performances. The event was successfully organized under the guidance of Prof. & HOD Dr. Madhuri Koche, Prof. Dr. Neha, Prof. Dr. Swati, and Assistant Professor Dr. Richa, with active support and enthusiastic participation from students, making the programme both informative and impactful.
