The School of Hotel Management and Tourism (SOHM), LNCT University, Bhopal successfully organised an enriching Industrial Visit to Hyatt Place Bhopal, Rani Kamlapati, for the students of the First and Third Semesters.
The visit commenced with an insightful briefing on Hyatt’s global legacy, brand philosophy, service standards, and operational framework, followed by an extensive property show-round. Students were introduced to various operational departments, gaining understanding of how a contemporary international hospitality property functions with precision, coordination, and service excellence.
The students were also graciously hosted for High Tea by Hyatt Place Bhopal, followed by an engaging Question-and-Answer session with the hotel professionals. The interaction inperson with the operation team provided students with valuable industry perspectives and an opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world hospitality practices.
The visit served as an immersive learning experience, enabling our young hospitality professionals to witness the industry in person, beyond textbooks and classrooms.
The visit was organised and coordinated by Ms. Soumya Malviya, Assistant Professor & Training and Placement Officer, School of Hotel Management and Tourism, LNCT University, Bhopal, with a focused discussion on strengthening future training and placement opportunities and institutional–industry collaboration between SOHM and Hyatt Place Bhopal.
