The “World Heart Day-2018” was celebrated in L.N. Medical College & J.K. Hospital with enthusiasm on 29.09.2018. This function was jointly organized by J.K. Cordis Heart Care and Medical Students of L.N. Medical College & J.K. Hospital. The function was inaugurated by Medical College Dean Dr. Bhanu Prakash Dubey, Dr. D.K. Satpathy (H.O.D. Forensic Medicine), Dr. Sarla Menon (Director Medical Services) and Dr. Anand Yadav (Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeon) by lamp lighting.
Dr. Awadhesh Narayan Khare delivered a lecture on World Heart Day-2018 theme “My heart, Your Heart” in a very interesting way which was appreciated by the audience. Dr. Ashish Saraogi (Anaesthesiologist – CTVS, Cardiology) gave a presentation on Cardiac Health Services of Hospital. Dr. Anand Yadav talked about the Vision of Cardiac Health Services of the Hospital and spoke about the vision of Honorable Chairman of LNCT Group Shri Jai Narain Chouksey to provide standard medical and cardiac care within affordable cost and to treat every needy patient.
The Vice Chancellor of LNCT University Dr. Narendra Thapak and Shri Suresh Narain Chouksey graced the occasion with their presence. Dean Dr. Bhanu Prakash Dubey and Dr. D.K. Satpathy emphasized on healthy lifestyle, stress free life to keep heart healthy in there speech. The program ended with mini-marathon in which Medical Students and Staff of Medical College and Hospital participated with enthusiasm.
