BAMS and Postgraduate Students Successfully Complete Postmortem Observation Visit at Gandhi Medical College
The Department of Agad Tantra and Forensic Medicine, L.N. Ayurveda College & Hospital, Bhopal, successfully organized an educational Postmortem Observation Visit for Second Professional BAMS students (Batch 2024–25) and Postgraduate (PG) students on 7th, 9th, and 11th July 2026 at the Department of Forensic Medicine, Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal.
The program was conducted under the valuable encouragement and guidance of Mr. Jai Narayan Chouksey, Chancellor of LNCT University; Dr. Anupam Chouksey, Secretary of the LNCT Group; Dr. Sapan Jain, Principal of L.N. Ayurveda College; and Dr. Vishal Shivhare, Director of the college. The wholehearted support and guidance of Dr. Ashish Jain, Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine, Gandhi Medical College, enabled the students to observe various postmortem procedures firsthand and gain valuable practical insights into the field of Forensic Medicine.
A total of 88 Second Professional BAMS students participated in the educational visit. Each group was accompanied by five postgraduate students from the Department of Agad Tantra (Batches 2024–25 and 2025–26), who mentored and guided the undergraduate students throughout the program, making it an excellent example of peer learning.
The visit was supervised by the faculty members of the Department of Agad Tantra, including Dr. Parmeshwar Raut (Professor), Dr. Tripti Gupta, Dr. Ravikant Gupta, Dr. Shanti Manyala (Associate Professors), and Dr. Sayali (Assistant Professor), who provided continuous academic guidance and support to the students.
The LNCT family has always been committed to providing students with quality clinical exposure alongside classroom teaching through educational visits, workshops, and various academic activities. As emphasized by Chancellor Mr. Jai Narayan Chouksey and Secretary Dr. Anupam Chouksey, “Knowledge should be acquired continuously, regardless of its source or medium, and should always be refined and enriched.” Inspired by this vision, the institution regularly provides students with meaningful opportunities for experiential learning.
