School of legal studies conducted an expert lecture on Moral Dilemma of Criminal Defense Lawyer on 29th January 2020, delivered by criminal law expert Prof. (Dr.) Priyaranjan Kumar Shukla, NLIU Bhopal.

He did not only draw a parallel between the personal and professional life of a lawyer especially a one defending hardened criminals but also emphasised on personal morality and public opinions that may or may not govern our choices.

Morality and Law are always at a conflict with each other and how one must rise above it and see reason was beautifully articulated in the lecture.
