On 26th November 2021, the School of Legal Studies at LNCT University celebrated The Constitution Day at CME hall of the university.The programme started with Sarswati Vandana and lightening the lamp .
Dr. Seema Mandloi , Director of the School of Legal Studies, delivered the welcoming statements and explained the importance of celebrating Constitution Day .Our Chief Guest for the celebrations of Constitution Day was Shree Awadhesh Pratap Singh, Principal Secretary in Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly Bhopal , gave a brief description about the history of Constitution making and explained the subsequent process in state legislature. Prof.(Dr.) N.K..Thapak, Vice Chancellor of LNCT University, gave a speech describing the constitutional values which must be followed by every citizen for the welfare of India. Dr.R.K.chourasiya, the Registrar at LNCT University, also gave a speech in which he described the contribution of various personalities in making of the Constitution.
The programme included many activities including poster making, essay writing, quiz competition, nukkad natak .The entries for the poster making , essay writing and quiz competitions ended on 25th November it self. Entries of eassy competition and poster making competitions were judged separately on the occasion of Constitution Day and on the theme Azadi ka amrit mahotsav- 75th year of Independence, 72nd year of constitution. Certificates and Mementos for the competitions were distributed .The programme was anchored by Asistant Prof.Mr. Rishi Bhargava, and Dr.Anushka Mishra Nayak, Associate Professor SOLS . The Preamble reading was done by Asistant Prof. Mr.Birendra Tiwari. The vote of thanks was given by Dr.Jyoti Sharma .Prof.(Dr.) B.P Tiwari ,Mr Saood Khan, Miss Saumya Dubey and Dr. Yogini Upadyaye were also present in the Occasion. The pogramme was successfully concluded with the National Anthem.
