On the 21st December 2021, School of Pharmacy at LNCT University organized a meditation workshop on the topic “Stress Management” for all the students. The chief guests of the session were Mr.K.Subramanian (Ex-Director, V care Medi Solutions, Bhopal) and Mrs.Geeta Subramanian (Yoga and art of living trainer). Mr.A.K Singhai, Director of the School of Pharmacy, LNCT University, addressed the gathering crowd. Mr.K.Subrananian enlisted various points on how one can reduce stress by doing exercises on a regular basis, having a disciplined life, taking good care of oneself, and following one’s dreams and keeping in touch with his/her family and friends. Sir also put emphasis on the importance of taking out time for ourselves from our busy schedules. It was a great interactive session.
Mrs.Geeta Subramanian took up the yoga session and made students as well as faculties enthusiastically participate in doing few important asanas such as Pranayam and Chaitanyasana. The vote of thanks was offered by Dr.Ashish Jain (HOD School of Pharmacy LNCTU) and the anchoring was done by Ms.Steffi Thomas (Assistant professor, SOP, LNCTU). Students and faculties understood the ways of dealing with stress and understood the importance of Yoga in our daily lives.
