On 20th December 2021, the 7th semester students of B.Pharm , School of Pharmacy, LNCT University, visited Vitamax Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. Indore as part of their educational career. Faculty incharges, Dr.Virendra Kumar Sharma and Mr.Pradeep Yadav, accompanied the students throughout their educational visit to the injection manufacturing unit of Vitamax Healthcare. The trip was coordinated by Mr.Vinod Mudgal, the Manager of Vitamax Healthcare.
The students got to see the manufacturing process of Cyanocobalamine injections and learnt how to wash the rubber stopper. The complete aseptic processing of parenteral preparations was observed by the students. They looked into the various equipments involved in manufacturing parenterals such as fuming chamber, double beam UV spectrophotometer, HPLC, polarimeter, fluorimetry, gas chromatography, thin Layer chromatography. They also recognized the process of washing ampoules and vials and filling them along with labelling and packaging . The students fully preceived the working conditions of the industry.
